Our Story

In 1958, God called Bro. Grady Gordon Sr. into the ministry. In 1962 Bro. Grady Gordon Sr. along with his wife Missionary Geneva Gordon and family was asked to put on a Revival by Mother Laura Wilson, which was held in her backyard in Mobile Terrace. Deacon Charlie Taylor asked Elder Gordon Sr. to establish a church in the area. The first location was a small building at 11th & Cody Rd. After a 19th night revival 39 souls was baptized. As the congregation grew, Pastor Gordon Sr. and the congregation decided to purchase land and build a new church. In 2004 under the leadership of Elder Grady Gordon Jr. & First Lady Odessa Gordon the vision continued.
